Serious Underfunding of Lung Cancer Research Related to Desperately Slow Progress
Funding for innovative research is crucial to retaining and recruiting the brilliant minds needed to understand this disease and advance the science. There is considerably less funding available for research on lung cancer than on other types of cancer. The Uniting Against Lung Cancer Research Grant Program is attempting to close the funding gap.
