| Kites for a Cure Babylon 2009 | Elliot's Legacy 2009 |
In 2007, Uniting Against Lung Cancer inaugurated its Kites for a Cure ™ as a model for lung cancer advocates across the U.S. This event – a family kite fly – is a fun and beautiful tribute to the spirit of those who want to fight the disease as well as those who want to honor survivors and remember loved ones lost. Kites for a Cure™ is appropriate for all ages, easy and inexpensive to organize, and fills the sky with colorful kites like floating wishes. This event is a terrific way to get people thinking about lung cancer and about how they can make a difference.
