Elliot R. Chalmé
“ Smile. People can never be mean to a smile. It will open many doors”
- E.R.C.
Elliot’s Legacy was founded in memory of Elliot R. Chalmé by his family and friends.
Elliot had a natural ability to touch people’s lives with a great one-liner and charismatic smile. A true friend to young and old, his love for people impacted all who knew him. Regardless of who the person was or where they were in their lives, he treated them as a beloved friend.
Elliot Chalmé had a commitment to people and removing their pain. More importantly, he gave people the confidence to walk with their heads held high.
His zest for life allowed him to cherish every moment and live forever young.
Elliot Chalmé was an avid cyclist, a man who lived life to its fullest, and a kite enthusiast. Elliot was taken from his family and friends at age 56 by lung cancer. To honor his memory, Elliot’s Legacy hosted two “Kites for a Cure” — a Family Carnival and Kite Fly events in Deal, NJ. These events have raised nearly $2 Million for lung cancer research.
