Lisa, a four-year stage 4 lung cancer survivor, is riding for TEAM UALC in the TD Five Boro Bike Tour. Read why she's raising money for lung cancer research here:

"Supporting research is important to me because not only my life and my family's lives depend on it, but so many others afflicted with this disease. I have been lucky enough to live longer because of the research supported by events such as this. It is important that survivors tell their stories not only to raise awareness but to provide hope to others. Lung cancer needs more positive advocacy. Every day is a gift and today this is my gift to all those suffering from lung cancer."

Lung Cancer is the nation's leading cause of death among women, and will claim nearly 73,000 women this year - almost double the number who will die from breast cancer. Your support of lung cancer research can help us develop new treatments for men and women fighting lung cancer. Click here to read more about women and lung cancer.

You can make a difference - your $25 funds one hour of lung cancer research.
It could be the hour a breakthrough is made.
