With lung cancer as the #1 cancer killer, all too many of us are affected by this terrible disease. Angie lost her Mother to lung cancer. She shared her story with us and a message of hope:

"Lung Cancer took the life of the most amazing women I have ever met, my Mother. She was 56 when she was diagnosed and passed away at age 57; Leaving behind 4 kids and 6 grandkids. She loved life and was the perfect example of a mother. She was an inspiration to everyone during her treatment. She was positive and wanted nothing more than to one day wear a "Survivor" shirt. Although she lost her battle with Lung cancer she left something in her children that we will never never give up. Never give up on things that are important to you. That is why WE are determined to find a cure! WE GOT THIS!!"

Like Angie, we're determined to find a cure. Together we can make a difference in this fight against lung cancer by funding critically-needed lung cancer research that is saving lives. Donate to Research by the Hour - just $25 funds 1 hour of research:
