The annual "Joanie Award" will be given to a journalist who has produced an exceptional segment or series of segments for broadcast or published articles/s on lung cancer during the period of August 1, 2010 to July 31, 2011.

Candidates must fill out the application and send a copy of their segment/s or published clip/s of their articles to:

Entries must be received no later than July 31, 2011. Awardees will be notified by October 1, 2011.

Winner will be awarded $5,000 and personalized "Joanie Award" statue. Winner will participate in an awards ceremony in New York City at the Foundation’s annual fundraiser in November, 2011.
